Who We Are - Azienda Agricola Lanza
Our story is one of passion, dedication, and a deep love for the land. For generations, our family has cultivated and selected the finest olives to produce a high-quality extra virgin olive oil that brings the genuine taste of tradition to your table. Every drop tells the story of our commitment to preserving the excellence and the distinctive character of our olive oil.
Our Roots
Lanza Family Farm was born in Cerignola, in the heart of the Daunia region of southern Italy, where we proudly carry on our family’s olive-growing tradition. For generations, we’ve taken care of our olive groves with sustainable methods and hand harvesting, preserving the authentic flavors of our land.
Our extra virgin olive oil and Cerignola olives are the result of meticulous attention to detail, combining tradition, innovation, and a profound respect for the territory.
Every drop reflects the rich character of the Daunia and enhances the genuine taste of the Mediterranean diet.
- Tradition & Innovation – We honor traditional production methods, integrating them with modern technologies to ensure top-quality EVO oil.
- Uncompromising Quality – Only carefully selected olives, cold-pressed immediately after harvest to retain their nutritional and aromatic properties.
- Authentic Taste – A rich aromatic profile, with hints of fresh grass, almond, and a gentle spicy finish – perfect for Mediterranean dishes.
Our goal? To offer you an olive oil that tells the story of our family, land, and lifelong passion.
The Harvest
The olive harvest is more than just farm work – it’s a special event that unites our entire family and farm. Each year, with care and respect for the land, we celebrate the fruits of our labor, blending tradition and hard work passed down through generations.
This time of year marks not only the end of a natural cycle but also an opportunity to honor the quality of our products and our strong connection to the land we cultivate.
Our Land
The lands surrounding our farm in southern Italy offer a natural paradise for growing olives. This area benefits from a balanced Mediterranean climate, ideal for olives that ripen slowly, developing a rich and complex flavor profile.
The hot, dry summers and mild winters of our plains create a unique microclimate that helps olives thrive and express their full potential. Our soil – a perfect blend of sand and clay – is rich in nutrients, ensuring ideal olive yields and a product with exceptional quality.
These natural conditions, combined with meticulous, traditional farming, produce an extra virgin olive oil that stands out for its fruity flavor, fresh aroma, and health benefits thanks to its high content of polyphenols and antioxidants.
For us, olive oil is not just food – it’s heritage. It tells the story of our land, our culture, and our passion for nature. Thanks to our careful harvesting and modern cold-pressing methods, we create an oil known for its purity, quality, and distinctive taste.
